Welcome to Cakes and Treats by Charlotte! I am a passionate cake designer based in Carlisle, specialising in custom buttercream celebration cakes. With a love for all things sweet, I strive to create delightful cakes for every occasion, whether it's a wedding, birthday, or anniversary. Charlotte made our wedding cake for 1st June 2025 and it was exactly what we wanted. Ordering with her was super easy via messenger and she got back really quickly to confirm availability and price (extremely reasonable/ affordable compared to other suppliers we'd enquired with!). She delivered our cake to our venue on the morning of our wedding and set it up with our topper and flowers provided by our florist. The cake itself was absolutely delicious and we got so many compliments throughout the evening. We ended up with 3 boxes leftover and we're still working through it 5 days later and it's still just as delicious. We couldn't recommend Charlotte enough for her delicious homemade cakes and wonderful customer service!

Amazing service and the most delicious cake!
I got the bento box which had a small cake and 5 cupcakes. I also opted for the salted caramel filling. The cakes were decorated in the loveliest colours. And the flavour... so perfect. The fondant was smooth and just melted in our mouths. The sponge was soft and most importantly, it was moist!
The cake was for my stepdaughter's birthday and she absolutely loved it! Everyone commented on how yummy it was.

Charlotte done our wedding cake, and it was more than what we imagined! Bottom tier was vanilla top tier was biscoff it was so yummy! All our guests enjoyed the cake and said how good the vanilla was (me and husband kept the biscoff to ourselves). She kept us in the loop but everything and was also able to deliver to our wedding venue and set up. Definitely recommend.

Our wedding cake made by Charlotte was absolutely wonderful, both the taste and the decoration. I sent Charlotte an image of what I would like, and it was a perfect match, if not better. Charlotte made our wedding cake ! Not only did she transport it from Carlisle to Darlington ( sorry family favour!) to set up at the venue , it was decorated perfectly!
